During summer 2025, we led a statutory consultation to help us draft our planning application for this energy park and our community investment offer.
The consultation ran from Wednesday 2 July to Monday 18 August 2025. We invited feedback on our latest proposals from professional stakeholders in their expert field and the local community surrounding the site. We held two drop-in sessions at local venues and an online webinar where anyone could meet the project team and ask questions.
There were several other ways in which people were able to offer feedback and local insight – including via email, phone, by post and via an online survey.
We are now carefully considering all that we learnt before finalising our Development of National Significance (DNS) application, which will be submitted to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales.
