Our commitment to open and inclusive engagement

We are keen to hear a broad range of views as we progress our planning application for the Moel Chwa Energy Park. Whether it is during our initial informal engagement, or our statutory pre-application consultation, we are committed to engaging openly and honestly in as accessible and inclusive a way as possible.

Phase 1 – Informal consultation

We have already undertaken an initial phase of consultation, which gave local communities and stakeholders a chance to have their say on our early plans for the Energy Park.

As part of this consultation we hosted three drop-in events around the Energy Park and along the overhead line corridor route.

We are grateful for all the feedback provided at these events, and via our other means of contact. We received valuable comments and suggestions, which are being analysed carefully by the project team. If you weren’t able to join us at any of our events, you can still visit our virtual consultation, which includes all of the materials that were on display during the consultation. (Please note however that the consultation period has now closed, so any further feedback submitted at this stage may not be taken into account at this stage).
