As the first season of our partnership with the Football Association of Wales draws to a close, excitement is building at Bute Energy with details of both the Bute Energy Welsh Cup and the Bute Energy U16s Cup now finalised.
Having overcome arch-rivals Swansea in the semi-final, current holders Cardiff City will meet Wrexham in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup final, who have reached this stage for the first time since reforming in 2018. The two teams will go head to head at Newport County AFC’s Rodney Parade on Sunday 5th May, in the first Welsh Women’s Cup Final to be played since our two-year partnership with FA Wales was announced last Summer.
It’s also a case of North v South in the Bute Energy U16s Cup final, where Kinmel Bay will meet Cardiff Wanderers for a chance to be crowned champions. That match will take place at Newtown FC on Sunday 14th April.
